The Gippsland Wellness Expo is a not-for-profit event showcasing the wide range of holistic health and wellness services and products from across Gippsland. Our aim is to connect the community to these wonderful services for improving physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health. Supporting small business in the region. Our vision is to also create a network of health and wellness businesses that can collaborate and support each other.

 

The range of services and products include, but not limited to: Fitness, Strength, Recovery, Mental Health, Nutrition, Supplements, Health Foods, Herbs, Emotional Support, Empowerment, Self-Care, Low Tox Products, Spiritual Healing, Energy Healing, Meditation, Breathwork, Saunas, Colonics, Physiotherapy, Massage, Osteopaths, Chiropractic, Pregnancy and Motherhood, Health Coaching & Organics.

 

The origin of the Gippsland Wellness Expo began when a small group of approximately 20 businesses decided to take part in the Week of Wellness, coordinated by Casey Bird from Studio 72 Infrared Saunas. The Week of Wellness was a week in August 2022 where each business offered an online special or discount and we all promoted each other.

 

It was then decided to follow on with an expo, facilitated by Olivia Skinner from Sacred Wise. All businesses initially involved in the Week of Wellness were invited to participate in the expo which was to be held the following March. Word quickly spread and the Gippsland Wellness Expo was born.

 

Our first Expo was held in March 2023, with almost 40 businesses taking part. These businesses came from many parts of Gippsland, including Latrobe City, Baw Baw, Wellington and Bass Coast. We managed to fit into the VRI Hall in Traralgon and welcomed hundreds of patrons over the weekend. The feedback from the community was supportive with many saying ‘we needed something like this’ and ‘I had no idea a lot of these businesses existed’.

 

By 2024 we had doubled in size with 70+ health and wellness businesses interested in setting up at the expo to share their wonderful range of healing services and products. Some coming from as far as East Gippsland to take part. Momentum has increased and we are expecting up to 2000 patrons per day. The event will be held at Kernot Hall in Morwell.

As a not-for-profit event, we do not have funded marketing. Therefore, we rely on sponsors, stall holder fees and entry fees
